As part of a Europe-wide tender for the modernization of the education and training center of the Baden-Württemberg optician guild, MIG-O-MAT was awarded the contract for the delivery, installation, training and maintenance of new microflame soldering devices.

Flame soldering for the repair of eyeglass frames is still an important part of the training regulations for the profession of optician. In contrast to gas cylinders, microflame soldering devices offer the advantage of a precisely adjustable and very fine flame as well as the highest possible level of safety, since no pressurized gas cylinders are required and no gas is stored. The devices only produce as much gas as is currently being withdrawn. For schools in particular, the safety and uncomplicated operation of the devices is a major advantage.

In addition, with its Lötstar series devices, MIG-O-MAT offers the possibility of supplying several workplaces with a constant flame as well as an all-round carefree package consisting of advice, installation, subsequent on-site maintenance by its own employees and competent support if questions arise .
