Development of the company:

MIG-O-MAT was founded in 1972. Apart from producing micro flame generators, MIG-O-MAT is mainly occupied with the development and construction of pioneer technologies in welding.

In microflame soldering and welding, MIG-O-MAT microflame gas generatores have always been setting technological standards. High reliability and extremely long life time combined with low running costs are characteristics of our soldering units.

From 1997 on, the tasks in the areas of plasma welding and special welding power sources were shared with the “Uniweld Schweißtechnik Union GmbH&Co KG”, whose 25 years experience in these areas is now completely at MIG-O-MAT’s disposal by taking over their development- and production department in 2000.

In addition to product development and construction, applications technology more and more becomes an important area of operations for MIG-O-MAT. Our goal is to offer our customers application specific solutions for plasma welding.
